As Helen Flanagan sparks a new dispute with Scott Sinclair over co-parenting their children, a source has shared with The Sun the real situation between the former couple.

The 35-year-old former Coronation Street actress accused him of missing their son Charlie’s nativity play.

Helen and Scott share three children: Matilda, 10, Delilah, 7, and Charlie, 4.

A source disclosed that Helen had hoped Scott would attend Charlie’s nativity play due to her demanding work schedule.

She is currently performing in a panto in Liverpool.

The source stated: “Helen is working full-time at the moment in panto and was counting on Scott to attend the nativity on her behalf since she has a lot on her plate and he is retired.”

“When he didn’t show up, she was upset and took to social media to express her frustration and make a point. Their relationship can be challenging at times; co-parenting is not easy.”

Scott shared a post on his Instagram showcasing his recent trip to Abu Dhabi.

While in the UAE for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the post included several photos from the trip. He captioned: “What a weekend - Abu Dhabi F1.”

A few days later, Helen reposted Scott’s trip on her Instagram Stories, where she harshly criticized him.

“You really are a piece of s***. How could you not attend Charlie’s nativity?” she expressed angrily.

She also posted a photo with Charlie after the play, writing: “Loved Charlie’s nativity, my heartbeat.”

“Scott has yet to comment on the altercation, but it appears they are no longer following each other on the platform.”

This isn’t the first time their co-parenting relationship has faced challenges; Helen previously admitted that in October 2024, she mentioned on The Mail's The Life of Bryony podcast: “I mean, I’m currently blocked on his phone. I really am. I’m on block.”

However, the actress later reassured that she and Scott were communicating to co-parent their children.

Things seem to have taken a turn for the worse in recent months, as she hinted to The Sun: “He lives in Somerset and I reside in Lancashire. So, we are quite far apart, which makes it really challenging when you have three young children.”

“I dislike calling it co-parenting because, to be honest, I don’t really feel like a co-parent anyway.”
