She made it very clear in the first episode of the reality show The Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives that kicked off this week that men and motherhood are not part of her plan.
Unlike her more conventional three sisters Honey Peaches, Pearlygirl and Ruby Ann, Trewley has no intention of settling down anytime soon.
Careers tend to be frowned upon for Britain’s women, and instead most girls are often married by their late teens – dreaming of little beyond being a housewife and mother.
But busty blonde Trewley revealed how she is proudly flouting the usual route mapped out.
And yet despite her protestations, it has now emerged that feisty Trewley did have a serious boyfriend and a sexual relationship back when she was 19 years old.
Although she has never officially tied the knot, according to the strict rules of the traveller community, losing your virginity to a man essentially means you are married to him.
Trewley’s army of almost a million online followers were baffled and so she took to on Tuesday to clear up the confusion.
Speaking to The Sun from her pink council house in Clacton-on-Sea, , Trewley explained how many people do not fully understand the huge significance of what it means to have sex before .
She told us: “In our community if you give yourself physically to someone you are seen as married to that person.
“I had a boyfriend when I was 19 but I wanted more. I’ve been celibate since then.
“If I met someone new now it would only be to get married, otherwise it would be seen as running away.
“I would never dare bring a boy home unless I was going to marry him. Giving a child to a man is such a big thing.
“Anyone can be a mum but I want a career – the last thing I think about is sex.
“People call me a p*key and a lesbian because I’m not married, but I don’t care,” she added.
Trewley, 26, is the breakout star of the new Channel 4 reality show.
But her outspoken views are already sending shockwaves through her tightknit community, where most people follow rigid, and centuries old, traditions.

“We’re like the ,” Trewley told us. “Except we’re broke, on and a bit fat. Maybe we’re more like the Carb-dashians.”
While her sisters play by the rules Trewley, who still lives at home with mum Tina, has other plans. She wants to build a business empire.
Her late dad Sid, who died three years ago, urged his four daughters to live in the conventional way.
Although she would never dare break her 9.30pm curfew, doesn’t drink, swear or do , Trewley still manages to horrify the rest of her family by flagrantly swimming against the tide.
But after the first episode aired on TV on Monday she was bombarded with questions from confused fans wanting her to explain the truth about whether she has ever really had a husband or not.

She explained to her army of TikTok followers: “Yes I have been married and no I haven’t – hear me out.
“From my Daddy’s community we would call it running away to get married.
“What this really means is gypsies in the community are expected to be married young, have children and this is all supposed to happen after the marriage.
“But if you don’t wait until church to have sex then you are seen as having ‘run off’ to get married without permission from your family or the church – so girls run away to get married.
“In reality, someone like my Mummy, who is a non-traveller, and anyone who is not part of that community, would just see it as giving their virginity to their boyfriend.
“It is a bigger thing than that, that’s just how I feel.
“I’m from that community so it is a big deal for me. I was 19, I was a fully grown adult, I wasn’t 15, 16, how old these girls are getting married.
“I was a fully grown woman when I gave myself to him.
“So yes in my Daddy’s community I ran off to get married.”
