A HORSE that cost just £100 could win the Grand National and £1million for his owners today.

But the family, who own a scaffolding company near Bath, could not have dreamt of winning the world’s most famous steeplechase when they bought Twig five years ago.
Beau said: “He’d never jumped anything but we sent him away to a local point-to-point trainer, Matt Hampton.
“During the he was turned out and strengthened up.
“Matt said, ‘This is a good horse’ and I laughed and said we’ve heard it all before — but to be fair he was right.”
Twig finished tenth in last year.
Beau added: “I’m sure he’s in better form this time. His trainer says he has a sporting chance.”
