FORMER Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter stunned fans after showing up to Sweden training wearing a cowboy hat.

The 51-year-old earlier this year, less than six months after being appointed.

arrived in Texas for the tournament earlier this month and have since been preparing for their opening match against Tunisia.

They trained in front of over 2,000 fans in the city of Frisco on Tuesday – and walked onto the pitch wearing a cowboy hat.

The national team shared a video of his entrance on social media with a comment that read: “There’s a new Sheriff in town.”

Fans were quick to react, with one person joking: “You can be my deputy anytime, cutie.”

Another wrote: “Ladies and gentlemen, I have my World Cup team.”

A third said: “There are a lot of good teams at this year’s World Cup. But few managers are wearing hats this big.”

While a fourth commented: “Fairs Graham that’s a cool hat.”

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Potter said: “I when I’m working.

“I look a bit Swedish. Two of my kids were born in Sweden. You’re aware with the national team that you’re doing something for more than you.

“It’s a bigger thing. You can feel the intensity. That’s what’s beautiful about it.”
