Governor Radda Approves N137 Billion Supplementary Budget!

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has enacted the 2025 supplementary budget of ₦137 billion that was approved by the State House of Assembly.

This budget consists of ₦126.8 billion allocated for capital expenditures and ₦10.2 billion designated for recurrent expenditures.

Radda stated that the supplementary budget is essential to address funding shortages in ongoing projects and to maintain infrastructure development throughout the state.

He explained that the new funds will primarily be used to complete roads, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, water projects, and agricultural initiatives.

Previously, the Katsina Assembly referred the proposal to its Committee on Appropriations, which produced a report that led to the approval of the bill before it was enacted into law.

The signing ceremony occurred at Government House, Katsina, on Tuesday, with prominent government officials and lawmakers in attendance.
