THE BBC have finally confirmed they’ve made a landmark TV reunion bringing to an end one of the most infamous showbiz feuds of the past 30 years.
The Rise of the Rockstar Chefs sees chef finally break bread with his one time foe and fellow gastronome, Marco Pierre White.

Their tumultuous relationship stemmed back to 1988 when Gordon – then a 21-year-old sous chef – started work at ‘s London restaurant, Harveys.
There he says he endured: “rages, and violence.” and, despite now being famous for being a kitchen hardman, was reduced to tears by his treatment at the hands of hiss famous boss.
Last week I revealed how Gordon, Marco and their other rival, Heston Blumenthal, had recently enjoyed their reunion, and were pictured warmly embracing one another in front of the cameras.
The trio chose an apt London location for the landmark moment to establish diplomatic relations – the new Carbonne Italian restaurant inside the former US Embassy on Grosvenor Square.

But the Beeb still weren’t corroborating the existence of the programme, even though it had been talked about for months.
There were fears that the whole project might have been scuppered by a row between the notoriously headstrong trio.
Finally confirming the three-part documentary, Head of Factual Entertainment Catherine Catton said: “I’m delighted they’re reuniting to bring audiences the truly extraordinary story behind their fierce rivalry, uncompromising ambition and, at times, truly outrageous antics.”
The show will look at how the Nineties in particular were a whirlpool of different cultures that converged in the white heat of Britpop and Cool Brittania.
And Marco, Gordon and Heston were at the heart of it, flying the flag for Britain’s coolest – while bagging multiple stars along the way.
Lisa Edwards, Chief Creative Officer and Executive Producer of Studio Ramsay Global, who are making the show added: “It was the decade that really put British food on the map led by the original Rock Star Chefs, Marco Gordon & Heston.
” Its the story of rivalry and the pursuit of perfection where the real heat was not just in the kitchen.”

Michael Urie has sparked hopes of a comeback for much-loved US series Ugly Betty.
Twenty years since it burst on to screens, Michael, who played Marc St James in the , says the cast would love to revive the show.
It would see actress reprise the role of modern icon Betty, the ambitious and smart high-fashion magazine assistant.
Michael told Variety: “I also think it would be so interesting in a woke world, you know?. Because that show was so ahead of its time.
“When you watch it back, there’s a couple of cringey things, but for the most part, it was ahead in terms of the way you treat people, in terms of diversity.
“It was very feminist, very queer-friendly, queer-forward. It was all those things – in 2006.”
The British Touring Car will continue to air on after the broadcaster signed a new three year-deal to show the sport.
It extends the UK partnership through to at least the end of the 2029 season.
The new contract starts in 2027 and means the BTCC will go out live on ITV4 and be available on , providing seven hours of live coverage from each race day.

“This might sound bonkers but what I’m doing in this boiling hot is thinking about hot toddies and cosy knits, because Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas is coming back,” said Kirstie, who made her name fronting alongside .
