TWO women have been arrested for murder after a pensioner was found dead at a supported living housing property.
Officers were called to Cedar House in Foxwood Drive, Stockton, at around 2.44am on Tuesday 21 by ambulance service colleagues.

A man, believed to be aged in his seventies, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Cleveland have since arrested two women, aged 41 and 54, on suspicion of murder.
Detective Chief Inspector John Bonner said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“We are working as quickly as possible to establish the circumstances of what happened, however, at this time we do believe that this was a targeted incident which took place inside a block of flats.
“We would like to appeal to anyone who may have attended Cedar House at any point yesterday in the late evening or into the early hours of – who may have seen anything out of the ordinary or seen anyone behaving suspiciously.
“Those people are asked to contact Cleveland Police as quickly as possible.”
Officers were alerted to the death after being called by ambulance service colleagues to the property.
After finding the deceased pensioner at the scene, a murder was launched with two women arrested.
They have since been kept in police custody as enquiries continue.
The man’s family have been informed of his passing and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The force is calling for anyone with information to contact it on 101, quoting reference number 143672.
