Good Morning Britain presenter ‘facing the axe’ amid cost-cutting measures and on-air controversies

GOOD Morning Britain looks set to lose one of its presenters amid ongoing cost-cutting measures at ITV.

Regular rotating host looks set to lose his position on the morning breakfast show.

The presenter is expected to be axed from the line-up, according to the MailOnline.

Cutbacks at ITV have seen fellow daytime programmes and slashed and while GMB’s run time has not been affected, it appears that some of its hosts, including Adil, face uncertain futures.

Adil has long been a stand-in host on the programme and regularly fronts the summer holidays alongside and , both of whom have been with the show since its beginning.

Moreover, over the past 12 months, Adil has been a rotating Friday host with following Ben Shepherd’s show departure.

Insiders told the Mail that ITV execs held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the drastic changes where Adil’s axing was understood to have been discussed.
