Actors Gong Seung Yeon, Yoo Joon Sang, and Kim Jae Young will deliver comfort through the new drama “My Lovely Journey”;!
On May 30, Channel A’s upcoming weekend drama “My Lovely Journey”; announced that it will premiere this August and unveiled its new poster.
Based on a bestselling Japanese novel by Maha Harada, “My Lovely Journey”; tells the story of a former idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been the center of attention in her life. As she takes on travel assignments on behalf of others, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming to understand the true meaning of success and life.
Gong Seung Yeon takes on the role of Kang Yeo Reum, a former idol group member who now works as a travel segment reporter on a lifestyle information program. Although she appears to be bright and positive, she secretly harbors anxieties about her future.
Yoo Joon Sang plays Oh Sang Sik, the CEO of Ogu Entertainment, the agency to which Kang Yeo Reum belongs. Born as the youngest son in a family of doctors, he has experienced major turning points in his life, from being a boxer to a former manager, and now the head of an entertainment company. He shares a close relationship with Kang Yeo Reum, exuding both humor and warmth in their interactions.
Kim Jae Young plays Lee Yeon Seok, an aspiring film director. After graduating from a prestigious university’s engineering department and quitting a major corporation, he chose to pursue filmmaking. He forms a special connection with Kang Yeo Reum when he takes on the editing for the travel segment she hosts.
In the newly released poster below, Kang Yeo Reum, Oh Sang Sik, and Lee Yeon Seok are seen standing against a backdrop of a lush green forest, smiling brightly with their hands resting on each other’s shoulders. The tagline, “For those who cannot leave, we will travel on your behalf,”; heightens anticipation for the empathy, comfort, and healing the drama promises to deliver.
