In a video posted on his grid, Jamie said: “Hey everyone… I think it’s finally time to set the record straight, with respect to the people involved obviously.
“There seems to be a narrative playing out that I left my ex-wife and kids for Taylor. That is completely false, first and foremost.
“Me and my ex separated nearly nine months ago and we are going through a divorce.
“You question someone’s morals and integrity for leaving a family. In my opinion, leaving is the hardest thing to do. So if you’re asking if I’ve got integrity and a moral compass, I think that says it all.

“I know people that stay in relationships, who cheat on their partners, who are unhappy, who project that onto their children.
“And that is just not something I wanted to do. And that’s a position that I’ve been in before as well.”
Explaining more about his family dynamic with his ex-wife Katie, Giant said: “People think that the children that me and Katie had, we had together.
“And that’s also false. My son’s 17 and my daughter is 19. Now my daughter is from Katie’s previous relationship and my son is from my previous relationship. And I think that’s important just for context.

“So again, let’s talk about the moral compass of this situation.
“And that’s being focused on from a position of, well, (with fans asking) ‘why are you rubbing it in your ex’s face? Why are you portraying your new relationship publicly?’ That was a situation that was taken out of our control.”
Talking about his new relationship, Jamie said: “I fell in love with Taylor because of the person she is. And that’s one of the most kindest people, one of the most fiercely loyal people, one of the most loving, caring people I’ve ever met in my whole life.”
Referring to her job as an OnlyFans model, Jamie added: “We’re in 2026 and I feel like some people’s views need to change.

The star concluded by saying: “But anyway, we’re here to clear up the timelines and the questions about infidelity and relationship crossover.
I hope you’re more clear on the situation now.
“I want to focus on the future. I have a huge amount of respect for my ex-partner and I’m not one to get bogged down with the negative comments because they are the minority.
“But I thought it’s very important to just let you guys know the full situation. Peace out.”
It comes just weeks after his ex-wife Katie took a saying she was “struggling with how easily something real gets replaced.”
Posting on Instagram, the hormone therapist candidly penned: “Human connection is messy.
“Grief is messy. Shock is messy. Being hurt is messy. Trying to stay composed while your life is being watched is messy.
“I think sometimes people expect you to either say nothing, feel nothing, or package your pain in a way that makes everyone else comfortable. Real life doesn’t work like that.”
Katie continued: “There are always better ways to handle things. I know that. I also know I’m human. I’m allowed to be affected by things. I’m allowed to be vulnerable.
“I’m allowed to move through something publicly without pretending it hasn’t touched me.
“This video was from a happier moment, and I hope I get back to feeling like this again one day. For now, I’m still moving.”

“It wasn’t something I expected, especially given the commitment I’ve shown to the role.
“I’ve always taken being in the public eye seriously, and I believe being a role model is about honesty as well as professionalism.
“For me, that means not hiding parts of who I am or the people I care about.”
A Gladiators spokesperson told The Sun: “After three formidable series, Giant is leaving Gladiators.
“We’d like to thank him for everything he has contributed to the show and wish him well for the future.”
Following the statement, Jamie then went public with his romance with Taylor with a sweet video of them dancing to The Lion King’s Circle of Life.
