KBS2’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke”;; has unveiled new posters!
“The First Night with the Duke”;; is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transferred into a minor character of a romance novel (played by Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After she wakes up inside the world of the novel, she winds up spending the night with the obsessive male lead Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).
In the newly released poster, Cha Sun Chaek (Seohyun) looks back hurriedly while running away so fast that one of her shoes slips off. The tagline on the poster hints at her unexpected role in the story, reading, “She took something precious, something that she shouldn’t have coveted.”;;
Meanwhile, Yi Beon gazes through a telescope with a determined, confident expression. Notably, he appears to be staring in the direction where Cha Sun Chaek’s flower shoe has been left behind. The tagline also suggests that he’s searching for Cha Sun Chaek, who has captured his heart: “If you take [someone’s] first night, it’s only natural to take responsibility.”;;
“The First Night with the Duke”;; premieres on June 11 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
