The Germans are almost going into this tournament under the radar slightly.

Six nations find themselves shorter priced than Germany and they’re a double figure price to be lifting the trophy come the middle of July.

They head into Sunday’s opener on the back of a nine-game winning run, with their last defeat coming in their opening World Cup qualifier before winning the remaining five games.

They took the lead at Scotland in their penultimate World Cup prep friendly before losing 4-1 and followed that up with a 4-0 victory over Aruba in their last warm-up.
