GARY NEVILLE has hit back at Arsenal fans after claims that he over-celebrated Manchester City’s winner against Liverpool.

The Sky Sports pundit was on commentary as to keep up the pace in the title race.

But some Gunners supporters weren’t impressed with , claiming it’s biased towards their rivals.

He has shot that down, saying on the Stick to Football podcast: “You know something, paranoia is incredible.

I think will win it.

“Arsenal fans are p***** off with me because when City scored two in the last 10 minutes at Anfield, they thought I was over-celebrating.

“The fact of the matter is that it was big.

“By the way, Arsenal wobbled like mad for a week or so afterwards, so it was big.”

That result kept City in the hunt after falling nine points behind Arsenal when losing.

The gap was back down to six at full-time with many seeing it as a sliding doors moment for City’s season.
