RUGBY fans have called for Ebbw Vale player Curtis Gregory to receive a lifetime ban for a violent stamp on an opponent.
Gregory saw red during the Super Rygbi match against Llandovery on Thursday.

In the 36th minute, the lock was given a straight red card after viciously stamping on the leg of an opposition player.
The shocking incident happened during a ruck and the targeted opponent had a leg outstretched.
Fortunately, the Llandovery player was not injured.
A clip of the incident was posted on social media, with fans left completely stunned.
Many are now calling for Gregory to receive a significant ban.
One person said: “Shouldn’t be allowed on the field ever again.”
Another commented: “Disgusting, could have shot his knee to bits!”
A third wrote: “He shouldn’t be allowed to play ever again. He could have snapped that guy’s leg in half.”
While a fourth said: “Ban him for life. There’s no place for that in rugby.”
Despite trailing 8-0 at the time of the incident, Ebbw Vale completed a turnaround to earn a 31-15 win.
