BBC executives have reprimanded the cast of The Celebrity Traitors regarding spoilers, as some inadvertently revealed too much information.

Only days after the outcome of the murder mystery was leaked online, it was reported that the producers have provided contestants with an extensive list of topics they must avoid discussing.

The television presenter admitted he made the mistake of publicly discussing scenes that did not make it into the final edit—of which there are many, including one referred to as “gold.”

Speaking on the Reel Talk podcast yesterday, Ross shared: “It’s nerve-wracking for me to watch it.

“The round tables, of course… Because a lot of content gets edited out, and I’m not allowed… I didn’t realize that I wasn’t permitted to talk about the material that was cut, which I understand why.”

“When I began discussing it last week, they sent us all a list saying, ‘Just a reminder, these are the topics in your contracts that you cannot discuss.’

“So I’ll navigate around it as much as I can without breaking any rules.

“However, there is a fairly comprehensive list, and I understand that most of it is to protect the integrity of the game as a viewing experience for the audience, so it makes perfect sense.”

The storyline of the popular show is now one of the BBC’s most closely guarded secrets.

This comes after Ross mentioned that there are fantastic scenes that have not been aired.

Last week, he remarked: “Naturally, there’s a lot that ended up on the cutting room floor.

“There were so many moments. Alan Carr had so many hilarious things to say and do, which I believe should have been included in the first or second episode.

“There’s something that occurs later that I know should be included but isn’t.

“And it’s as if there’s this ‘Alan Carr gold’ waiting to be showcased.”

Actress Ruth Codd revealed that there was an “unseen hierarchy” on the show, filmed at Ardross Castle in Scotland.

Other sources indicated that a significant argument between a brainiac and a historian was not included in the broadcast.

Speculation about the show’s outcome has been circulating online, but The Sun will not disclose any details.

The show continues tomorrow at 9 PM on One, with the finale airing next Thursday.
