A POPULAR Channel 4 television show is returning to screens tonight, seven years after it was dropped.
The Sun back in April that the programme was due to return later this year, and today the day has finally come.

first aired back in 2010, sharing stories about childbirth with viewers across the nation.
It aired its final series’ from the Birmingham Women’s Hospital in Edgabaston before axed the show due to dropped ratings and a shift in network strategy.
Now 12 new episodes will be airing, much to the excitement of fans.
Speaking about the upcoming episodes, an insider at the time said: “The idea is that this is a new version of the show for a new generation.
“The time that’s elapsed between the first series and the reboot raises the prospect that some of the babies seen arriving into the world in series one, largely filmed in late 2009, might soon be returning to the show and giving birth themselves if it continues for more series.”
Ahead of the new episodes, Will Rowson, executive producer at Dragonfly which produces the show for Channel 4 has also noted that the show has shifted its focus to become as open and relevant as possible.
He noted: “Quite a bit is different about the way that people have children People are so used to sharing. They expect to share, there is a willingness to share, and that is a generational thing.
“We’re recognising that people will get their miscellany and gentle anthropology elsewhere.
“So we make sure we’re giving the narratives, the backstories of the families, and understanding what the birth means to them.
“That’s the sort of context and richness you don’t get in a 30-second clip.”
Episode one of the reboot is set to tackle topics including C-sections, anxiety, and pregnancy loss.
One Born Every Minute airs on E4 tonight at 9pm.
