The future of the current boss is uncertain, as the Portuguese manager’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Silva, 48, has performed well at Craven Cottage, but there are reports of “tension behind the scenes” that could lead to his departure.
According to talkSPORT , Fulham is considering Rosenior as a potential successor if their current manager leaves.
The 41-year-old began his coaching career at Derby, where he served as the club’s assistant coach.
Rosenior later took on the managerial role but was controversially dismissed by the Tigers in 2024 after narrowly missing out on a playoff spot.
Nonetheless, his impressive work attracted the attention of the owners of BlueCo, who appointed Rosenior as the manager of Strasbourg.
In his first season at the helm, Rosenior led the Blue and Whites to a seventh-place finish, securing European football for the Alsace club for the first time in 19 years.

According to talkSPORT, Fulham is not the only club interested in Rosenior.
However, given the challenging situation with Silva, it may be the West London club that acts first.
The Fulham manager has previously engaged in talks with Saudi club Al-Hilal about a possible move.
He has also garnered tentative interest from other clubs in the past.
In August, Silva publicly criticized Fulham’s transfer activities.
He stated: “At the level we’re at, if you think that at any moment in your career at this level, any manager, player, or club can feel comfortable with what you’ve achieved – I believe that’s the first mistake you can make.
“When I say ‘We cannot stand still,’ it’s because it’s the only way I can remain in this job – to always want and demand more, to have the ambition to do more, it’s how I see things.
“With this mindset, I cannot remain stagnant.”
