AT LEAST 43 people have been injured and four are fighting for their lives after a bus crashed into a building in Spain.

A coach carrying 55 passengers smashed into a council office on Rambla Ferran in Lleida, northeastern Spain.

“This is the most serious accident that has occurred in the city of Lleida”, said the city’s mayor Fèlix Larrosa.

The cause of the collision is still unknown.
