MILEY Cyrus’s ex-boyfriend Cody Simpson has been left unable to “walk or talk” after two freak accidents.
The singer, 29, has damaged his vocal cord as well as dislocated his knee at the same time in two back to back emergencies.

As a result, he’s been forced to postpone his live show performances and work on his next album.
Cody took to to share the sad news with his beloved followers.
He shared a picture of himself with his knee in a leg brace while standing on crutches.
The Australian star also posted a video of his doctor going through a scan of his vocal cord and telling him he’ll need to be on voice rest.

In a final clip, Cody is seen in a dance rehearsal before collapsing to the floor in agony as he clutched his knee.
He penned: “The universe is serving it to me this year! An update on where I’ve been: I’ve been on and off vocal rest for close to 3 months trying to heal a damaged vocal cord.
“We decided to operate to aid the recovery, then I dislocated my knee rehearsing for a new music video and we had to push surgery back to let my knee settle.
“I can’t walk or talk for some time now, and no singing or dancing for months to come.
“I’ve been pushing my body and mind for years now non-stop and I’m taking time to reflect and understand this for what it is: forced rest.
“The album and live shows have to wait, but I’ve got some work to share while I’m down for the count. You can’t hold me down! I’ll be back stronger.
“FYI, we still shot the music video,” he concluded.
His fans were left understandably gutted but took to the comments section to send him plenty of encouragement.
One person wrote: “I think we’re all okay with waiting! We prefer you healthy and happy.
“If you hadn’t returned to doing music, you would still have lots of fans who love you either way! Now rest!!”
Another Instagram user said: “Rest is important! We’ll be here when you get back.”
Somebody else penned: “We love and support you, get better soon.”

Cody began his career as a recording artist in 2009 after being discovered on by Grammy-nominated producer Shawn Campbell.
He forayed into acting and in 2022 he joined the Australian Swim Team after qualifying for the Games during Australia’s team trials.
However, in June 2024, he retired from competitive after failing to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
Cody returned to music this year following a six-year break as he released two singles simultaneously back in March.
The performer dated Miley, 33, for ten months from late 2019 until August 2020.
The pair started off as long-term pals before embarking on the whirlwind romance.
They ended their relationship amicably after he wanted to head back to Australia to train for competitive swimming while she was gearing up for the release of her album Plastic Hearts.
The Channel star is now to musician Maxx Morando, the drummer for rock band Liily.
Cody is currently single after with Olympian champion and fellow former swimmer Emma McKeon in February, following a four-year relationship.
