Former Benue Governor’s aide, Okoh Lawrence resigns from PDP

A former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Benue State, Comrade Okoh Lawrence, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), marking a significant political shift in Ehaje Ward 11 of Ogbadibo Local Government Area.

In a resignation letter dated July 5, 2025, and addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ehaje Ward 2, Comrade Lawrence stated that his decision to exit the party was personal and followed “careful consideration.”;

“Please accept this letter as formal notification of my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), effective immediately,”; he wrote.

Lawrence expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve as SSA to the Governor under the PDP platform, noting that his tenure was filled with “valuable experiences”; and that he was grateful for the support he received during his time in office.

“I wish the party success in its future endeavors,”; he added.
