SUNSPORT tipsters have taken a closer look at this weekend’s action to bring you our best five-fold football accumulator.
We’ve previewed five of Saturday’s matches across the League One, League Two and the National League, with the selections paying just shy of 12/1 with Sky Bet.

Stockport vs Peterborough – Stockport win and over 2.5 goals at 8/11
Stockport shouldn’t have too many issues claiming three points against Peterborough. Jimmy McNulty’s side are League One’s highest-scoring side with 16 goals in seven matches. Their managerless opponents are bottom of the form table, with nine goals conceded in their last five and just one point collected on the road this season.
Wycombe vs Reading – Both teams to score (YES) at 8/15
We’re backing both sides to score at Adams Park this weekend. There’s almost always a goal at both ends when Wycombe are involved. In fact, BTTS has landed in nine of their 10 competitive matches this season. That record should continue this weekend when the division’s second-highest scorers, Reading, visit. Only one of the last seven meetings between these sides has failed to deliver both teams to score.
Newport vs Grimsby – Grimsby to win at 4/5
Grimsby are flying high in third spot, two points off leaders Barnet, and should bridge that gap this weekend.
Despite heartbreak in the playoffs last season, the Mariners have picked up where they left off and are one of only four unbeaten sides left in the division. They also lead the division for expected goals.
They meet a Newport side down in 19th and with just one win from their opening seven matches, with only two sides conceding more than their 11 goals. This should be three points in the bag for Grimsby, who’ve not lost any of their last eight against the Welsh side.
Fleetwood vs Rochdale – Both teams to score (YES) at 8/11
I’m leaning on the underlying numbers for this selection, with two sides who rank second and third for expected goals conceded (xGC) this season – only Crawley are posting worse numbers at the back.
Fleetwood have an xGC of 13.59, while Rochdale aren’t far behind with 12.11. So even though the hosts have conceded just seven times, the numbers suggest they’ve been fortunate and could be vulnerable at the back.
Harrogate vs Eastleigh – Harrogate to score 2+ goals at 4/7
Harrogate at home have been good to me this season, especially in terms of their goalscoring abilities. The National League side have struck 20 goals in nine matches this season, with 13 of those coming on home soil (65%) and 2+ scored in four of their five at home. Ideal against an Eastleigh side with one clean sheet in their last five.
