NETFLIX has unveiled the first look at The Gentlemen’s new series — giving a glimpse of the sex, drugs and violence Meghan will have to embrace if she signs for the show.

, which starts streaming next week, features Love Island host stealing the limelight with a more aristocratic look than viewers of her ITV dating show are used to.

She is seen hunting in full tweed and flat cap — and also dressed in designer gear as she rubs shoulders with toffs including lead character .

, is seen stripping off on several occasions in the trailer for the -directed drama.

A TV insider said: “If Meghan didn’t fully understand just how edgy a drama The Gentlemen is, she need only look at the images from the new season to see what’s in store.

“While it’s packed with glamour, millionaires and comedy, there’s also blood, guts and some seriously steamy scenes too.

“Once The Gentlemen is released, Meghan’s team will no doubt be analysing how season two concludes, to get a sense of where season three would go, and what potential role Meghan could have.”

Eddie, an ex-military man, was reluctant to live life as an aristocrat in series one.

And when his dad left him the estate instead of his indulgent, gambler brother Freddie (), he had to prop up the huge costs by doing business with gangsters and growing cannabis on the estate.

The trailer for the second series sees the duke clashing with his partners in crime, the Glass family, headed by father and daughter duo, Bobby and Susie, played by and .

At the end of the debut season, which screened in 2024, they were seen forging a comfortable alliance which allowed Eddie to maintain the family estate.

But in season two, he starts to get ambitious, wanting to buy back vast swathes which had previously been lost during harder times.

With millions in the bank due to selling drugs, he will do anything to get it — even risking the wrath of the Glass mobsters.

The duke is seen in a nail-biting screaming match with Bobby Glass, warning him: “Don’t you f***ing talk to me like that.”

He is also seen pursuing ambitions to affirm his position in society — apparently entering the House of Lords wearing official robes.

Viewers even see him hobnobbing with a politician — played by star — as well as with billionaire Stanley Johnston ().

It is not clear what role plays in the new storyline, as has kept her details under wraps.

But it is understood the streaming giant was impressed and wants her back for the third season.

It was revealed last week that provisional discussions were under way between team and execs behind The Gentlemen for a show role, though Netflix had not commented.

It is part of a return to the UK for , who is said to be considering a variety of projects.

They both quit the UK after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

Guy Ritchie is known for getting celebrity pals into his TV shows and movies, including ex-footie star hardman-turned actor .

The new season also sees boxer appear.

Season three is expected to start filming at the — which backs on to — later this year, and is set to be released on Netflix in 2027.

NETFLIX’s revenue in the UK in 2025 has overtaken ITV’s for the first time.

The figure of £2.05billion also eclipses that of other big British broadcasters including Channels 4 and 5, though it is impossible to make a similar comparison with the licence fee-funded BBC.

Netflix’s UK revenue was up 11.3 per cent from £1.85billion.

Meanwhile, ITV’s media and entertainment side made £1.9billion in revenue in 2025. It is currently in the process of being bought out by Sky.

However, when put together with its commercial arm, ITV Studios, its 2025 revenues reached £4.12billion.

Hit shows which have helped to swell Netflix’s coffers include Baby Reindeer, Adolescence, Stranger Things, Wednesday and Squid Game.
