Rangers forward, Godwin Obaje will miss Wednesday's President Federation Cup clash with oriental rival, Heartland due to injury.

The Round of 32 encounter will hold at the Awka City Stadium.

Obaje aggravated a previous injury in Rangers' 1-0 home loss to Plateau United last week.

The former Wikki Tourists hitman is also expected to miss Rangers' next two games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The experienced striker's injury will be a major setback for the Flying Antelopes, who are pushing to secure a continental ticket at the end of the season.

Obaje has scored four times for the title holders in the NPFL this term.

Rangers sit in fifth position with 45 points from 31 games.
