The Commissioner of Police in Bauchi State, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, has cautioned police officers in the state against engaging in extortion, bribery, and any form of illegal demands from the public.
This warning was issued in a press statement on Monday by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Nafiu Habib, following a routine briefing with department heads and tactical commanders at the Command Headquarters.
The Police Commissioner emphasized that the primary responsibility of officers is to safeguard lives and property, while performing their duties with integrity, professionalism, and respect for human rights.
