Everton manager, David Moyes, has explained why his team defeated Chelsea 3-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.

According to Moyes, his players put in their best display against Chelsea, adding that they nullified the attacking threat of the visitors.

Moyes watched as a brace from Beto and a goal from Iliman Ndiaye gave the hosts the victory against Chelsea at the Hill Dickinson.

The win over the Blues means Everton now sits eighth in the Premier League table.

Speaking to reporters at his post-match interview, Moyes said, “I thought it was our best performance from the first minute really, right on.

“I thought we did a really good job. Chelsea were coming here, probably hurting a little bit from their recent results, but we were able to nullify it at different times.”
