Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has given his reasons for dropping Erling Haaland from his starting XI to face Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.
Haaland is currently on a run of eight matches without scoring from open play.
The Norway striker had started all the 22 league fixtures so far and has 20 goals to his name.
But Guardiola has decided to start with Omar Marmoush, who just returned from international duty at the AFCON, against Wolves.
“There are a lot of games. I want to, a little bit, clean his mind, his body,” Guardiola told Sky Sports.
“And yeah, the selection is always because I believe that for today it is the best.”
