Manchester United star Bryan Mbeumo has called on Ruben Amorim’s squad to take accountability for their disappointing results this season.
Mbeumo spoke as Manchester United prepares to face Sunderland in the Premier League this weekend, following their recent defeat to Brentford.
The latest loss has left United in 14th place in the Premier League standings.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Mbeumo stated: “I believe everyone in the team must take responsibility.
“When you represent a club of this stature, it's essential that everyone understands their role – as a team, we must improve.
“Our primary focus should be on ourselves; we need to concentrate on what is happening internally.
“It’s not too difficult [to ignore external distractions], primarily because the main noise comes from social media. Therefore, it’s best to limit your time there and maintain focus on your own matters.”
