CHELSEA enters this weekend’s highly anticipated match against Liverpool with pressure mounting on manager Enzo Maresca.
The Blues have not won in their last three Premier League matches, having drawn once and suffered defeats against Manchester United and Brighton.

Tactically – as SunSport’s expert Dean Scoggins explains in our show Tactics Exposed – there are few secrets regarding Maresca’s preferred setup.
He aims for a 3-2-5 formation with a box midfield, which enhances defensive security against counterattacks while providing additional support in crucial attacking areas.
This approach also benefits Enzo Fernandez, an exceptional player due to his tactical adaptability.
However, without a creative player like Palmer – who is expected to be out for two to three weeks – Chelsea has lost some of its flair and threat.
This raises the question: how can they cope without Palmer? Maresca should have the courage to take a risk by fielding Estevao in that position.
Playing the 18-year-old, despite his youth and inexperience, would allow Chelsea to maintain their game plan without altering their box formation.
Fernandez and Estevao work effectively together, and by ensuring that the £105 million man is not the primary focus of the attack, it will enable him to perform at his industrious best.
Estevao possesses the technical skills needed for the role and, most importantly, he is capable of producing those moments of magic that define a special player.
Utilizing him as a direct replacement for Palmer, instead of overhauling the entire team, would address all of Chelsea's needs going into one of the season's most significant matches.
Liverpool has not exactly been dominating this season either.
The champions currently lead the Premier League, but many of their victories have come from late goals or spectacular strikes, masking performances that have often fallen short of last season's standards.
Saturday’s encounter will serve as a true litmus test for both teams regarding how their seasons might unfold going forward.
