Manchester United have suffered a double injury blow ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester City next Sunday.

This comes after Man United manager, Ruben Amorim said he is ‘concerned’ after both Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount came off injured during their 3-2 win over Burnley on Saturday.

Recall that a late penalty strike from Bruno Fernandes gave Man United all three points against Burnley at Old Trafford.

Providing an update on his injured players after the match, Amorim said at his post-match interview: “It was hard to lose a player like Cunha and Mason Mount – Mason Mount played like 30 minutes with an injury.

“I don’t know [if their injuries are long-term problems], but I’m concerned about that. They are so important for us, so we will see.”

He added: “I don’t know [how bad they are], we will check them.

“We need these guys to be really competitive.”
