Liverpool manager, Arne Slot has expressed that he wouldn’t be surprised if Arsenal leverages their set-piece abilities to score three goals against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
Slot stated this in the post-match conference following Liverpool’s 5-2 victory over West Ham United on Saturday.
“There was a time when we were behind Arsenal by 23 goals in set-pieces, including penalties,” Slot said.
“Now, we are not just three goals behind them; we’ve managed to close that gap a little bit.
“You never know what can happen with Arsenal this weekend, because I wouldn’t be surprised if they scored three from set-pieces against Chelsea this weekend as well.”
Slot now shifts focus to leading Liverpool as they prepare to face Wolves in their upcoming Premier League match on Tuesday.
