Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will be without Matheus Cunha for Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Cunha was absent during the 1-0 loss to Everton at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Amorim is optimistic about having the Brazilian back for the match against West Ham next Thursday, but United will need to cope without him for their challenging trip to south London.
The United manager has also disclosed that Benjamin Sesko and Harry Maguire will require additional time before they can return from their injuries.
“Sesko will need more time, and Harry is in the same situation,” Amorim informed reporters on Friday.
“Cunha is expected to return for the next match, but not this one. There has been no setback for Sesko; we are carefully managing the injury.”
