TWO Emmerdale stars have revealed the bizarre treatments they use in order to keep their skin looking youthful and fresh without needing Botox.
, whose character Leyla Harding was killed off the ITV soap earlier this year, and , who played her former on-screen partner, David Metcalfe, spoke about their rituals on their very own podcast, Matt & Roxy’s Quick Natter.

During the chat, Matthew observed that Roxy appeared to have a patch on her head in between her eyebrows.
The glam actress went on to reveal that she was using a patch that prevented her from developing lines, wrinkles and deep creases on her forehead and skin.
Roxy told Matthew she purchased the transparent stickers as she is too afraid to have injections to keep her skin looking fresh.
The star confessed she’d had plenty of fillers and laser skin treatments in the past but had never been able to go through with Botox.
Roxy said: “I wear this patch and it’s instead of Botox â they are £6.99 off .
“You stick them to parts of your face that you don’t want to crinkle during the day.
“I’ve always been scared of Botox.
“Yes, I’ve had a peppering and filler here and there and some skin boosting.
“Am I afraid of a laser, no. But Botox, yes.”;
But Roxy’s admission was not the strangest as Matthew went on to confess that he was doing something even more unusual to his face.
He revealed he had begun to smother the skin on his face in BEEF FAT in order to keep it glowing.
Roxy was left horrified at his confession as she imitated vomiting sounds as the actor told her: “You’ll love this being a vegan! It’s beef fat.”;
The actress confessed that he was “disgusting”; as Matthew continued: “I look at things on and immediately buy them.
“I saw a man in his 50s rubbing beef fat on his face and he said, ‘this is a wonder cream’.
“Just get a tub of beef fat and rub it on your face.
“It absolutely stinks!”;
Roxy and Matthew have remained firm friends since their time in the Dales together.
They were first seen discussing plans for a podcast when Roxy took part in ITV reality series, Drama Queens, last year.
Since the actress departed her role on earlier this year, she had thrown herself head first into the podcast with Matthew.
