EMMERDALE fans have “worked out” the identity of Lewis Barton’s kidnapper.
Viewers went into meltdown when the fan favourite character, played by actor , 24, made a shock comeback to the soap – but things are set to take a turn.

have revealed that next week Lewis will be snatched and bundled into a white van by two masked men.
It comes after his partner Vinny Dingle surprises him with a holiday to Madeira.
However, Lewis declines the kind offer, as the thought of the trip triggers his anxiety.
However, after a change of heart, following a conversation with his brother Ross Barton, he races to the airport to join Vinny.

However, as he gets ready to leave for the airport the white van and the masked men appear.
After this Emmerdale tease was released, fans went into overdrive trying to workout who is behind the kidnap plot.
One name kept coming up – they all think it is Lewis’ dad Kev Townsend.
