EMMERDALE fans were left completely horrified by the ‘most incestuous family’.
Between steamy romps, mum and daughter hook ups and babies between cousins, this ITV soap dynasty has seen it all.
The Dingles are known in the village for their chaotic and often scandalous storylines.
They are also close-knit in nature, but some Emmerdale viewers think they might be a little too much for comfort.
One fan took to social media fan forum site Reddit to list all the ways they are interconnected, and it’s not a comfortable read.
It has been noted that the family has had many relationships between different cousins.
The user noted: “Cain & Charity (2nd cousins, share 3.13% DNA)- had a baby together and were engaged. He could’ve been the father of Noah.
“Marlon & Charity (2nd cousins)- slept together. He also could’ve been the father of Noah.
“Mandy & Butch (1st cousins, 12.5%)- got married but never slept together. I’ve read Butch fancied her as a child.
“Debbie & Eli (1st C once removed, 6.25%) have just slept together and were caught by Chas.”
The user also stated that on multiple occasions, parents have hooked up with the same person as their child.
They continued: “Charity & Debbie (mother/ daughter): slept with Ross.
“Cain & Debbie (father/ daughter): kissed/ slept with Jasmine. Caleb & Nate (half uncle/ nephew)- slept with Tracy.”
The user added: “Cain & Nate (father/ son)- slept with Moira, Amy & Kerry. Chas & Mandy (1st cousins)- slept with & married Paddy.
“Nate & Noah (3rd cousins)- slept with Chloe. Zak & Shadrach (brothers)- slept with Faith.
“Caleb & Chris (half brothers)- slept with Charity. Cain & Caleb (half brothers)- slept with Ruby.”

Other viewers took notice as they acknowledged that the show has tried to move away from inter-family relationships .
Another commented: “It is interesting that the show has clearly made an effort to move away from the incest (which has always felt off). Think the last time was Cain and Charity about 6/7 years ago.”

While a third added: “I just remembered when Aaron was in prison in 2017 and told everyone that Robert was Dingle cousin, not his husband.
“Cue them then joking about Dingles marrying cousins as it’s so well established as village lore.”
