AN assistant director for hit Netflix show Emily in Paris has died while filming in Venice.
Diego Borella, 47, reportedly collapsed while preparing to shoot the final scene of the upcoming fifth season.

Medics rushed to the scene at the historic Hotel Danieli at around 7pm on Thursday – but they were unable to save him, La Repubblica reports.
Borella was a well-regarded Venetian professional who had trained in Rome, London, and New York.
According to Italian media, he also worked as a writer, publishing fairy tales and children’s stories.
It’s understood filming for Emily in Paris has been halted following Borella’s death.
Filming was expected to wrap up in the next few days, with the shoot scheduled to take place from August 15 to August 25.
The fifth season of Emily in Paris – which premieres on Netflix on December 18 – features Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, working at Agence Grateau in Rome.
It comes after a star of the show quit the hit Netflix series in April.
The show sees actress Camille Razat play the role of Camille, Emily’s friend and love rival.
But the 31-year-old French actress decided to throw in the towel and leave the show, sharing the poignant update on Instagram with a carousel of images from her time on the show.
