El Clasico: They’ll come back – Luis Garcia speaks ahead of Real Madrid, Barcelona clash

Published on May 10, 2025 at 05:55 AM

Former Barcelona player, Luis Garcia has given his take on Real Madrid’s philosophy ahead of their El Clasico LaLiga tie with Barcelona this weekend.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona will face each other for the fourth time this season on Sunday.

The El Clasico between both teams will take place at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

In the current season, Madrid havelost to Barcelona three times, two of which were finals.

The Catalan club won the Supercopa de España and the Copa del Rey after beating the Los Blancos 5-2 and 3-2, respectively.

However, speaking with GOAL, Garcia insisted that Madrid will come back to their best form because of the history of the club.

He said, “For Real Madrid. It’s been quite a few years, and we haven’t seen an idea or philosophy or something that you could say, ‘OK, this is a Madrid team’.

“We have got used to this: ‘They are gonna come back because of the history or the background or the badge or whatever.'”;
