Eid-del-maulud: Imo police commissioner asssures muslims of adequate security

As Muslims celebrates 2025 Eid-El-Maulud festival in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the Imo State Police Commissioner, CP Aboki Danjuma, has assured them of adequate security in the state through out the festive season.

In a press statement from the desk of the Spokesperson of the Command, DSP Henry Okoye, stated that the Police Commissioner prayed that the Prophet’s timeless virtues of peace, love, sacrifice, and humility will continue to guide the lives of Imo residents and strengthen unity, tolerance, and mutual respect within Communities.

The CP, assured that adequate security personnel and resources have been fully deployed across the state to guarantee a peaceful and hitch-free celebration.

The press statement also informed that the Police Commissioner has directed all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers, DPOs, to ensure that no form of security breach occurs within their respective jurisdictions.

He used the medium to urge members of the public to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and cooperative with security agencies by promptly reporting suspicious activities to the nearest Police Station.
