Championship permutations
Championship automatic promotion
Coventry have already been promoted as champions of the Championship, returning to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.
Three teams are playing for the final automatic promotion spot.
Ipswich are second by a point, having opened the door to Millwall and Middlesbrough with a draw against Southampton on Tuesday.
Southampton as a result took themselves out of contention with the draw.
This is how their fixtures look:
- Ipswich (81pts, +30 GD) vs QPR
- Millwall (80pts, +13 GD) vs Oxford
- Wrexham vs Middlesbrough (79pts, +25 GD)

Championship play-offs
Wrexham are leading the race in sixth place, with Hull and Derby right behind them.
Hull are level on points with the Welsh side, and will overtake on goals scored if they both win and the Tigers outscore Wrexham by one goal.
If the Tigers outscore Wrexham by two they will head into sixth on goal difference.
Derby will need both sides to lose, their goal difference means if they do, a point or a win will see them end the season in sixth.
This is how their fixtures look:
- Wrexham (70pts, +4 GD) vs Middlesbrough
- Hull (70pts, +3GD) vs Norwich
- Derby (69pts, +9GD) vs Sheffield United

League One play-offs
Stockport were given the chance to secure their spot before the final weekend on Tuesday night, but LOST to Port Vale.
Their tally of 74 points means failure to win could see them slip as low as seventh, if Bradford, Stevenage and Luton all win.
Plymouth can also deny Stevenage, if they can pick up three points with both Luton and Stevenage losing their ties.
Somewhat remarkably, only Stevenage are playing at home this weekend.
This is how their fixtures look:
- Barnsely vs Stockport (74pts, +11GD)
- Exeter vs Bradford (74pts, +6GD)
- Stevenage (72pts, +2GD) vs Wigan
- Bolton vs Luton (71pts, +11GD)
- Northampton vs Plymouth (70pts, +11GD)

League One relegation
Northampton Town, Port Vale and Rotherham will all be returning to League Two at the conclusion of this season.
Exeter City are currently in the relegation zone, but two points behind Leyton Orient, so either side can go down.
Exeter’s goal difference means that if they win and Orient draw then they will be the side who stay up.
This is how their fixtures look:
- Leyton Orient (51pts, -12GD) vs Burton Albion
- Exeter City (49pts, -8GD) vs Bradford

League Two permutations
League Two automatic promotion
Two of the three automatic promotion spots have already been won by MK Dons and Bromley.
The title is yet to be decided, as one point separates the sides going into final day, and this is how they play:
- Fleetwood vs MK Dons (85pts, +41GD)
- Bromley (84pts, +23GD) vs Walsall
Cambridge currently occupy third, but could finish as low as fifth.
Two points split them in third and Notts County in fifth, with Salford sandwiched between the two.
Cambridge need to win to secure it, but their goal difference could secure it if Salford draw and Notts County lose.
Salford need to win and need Cambridge to lose, Notts County need to win and need both sides above them to lose, and this is how they play:
- Crewe vs Cambridge (81pts, +33GD)
- Crawley vs Salford (80pts, +10GD)
- Notts County (79pts, +22GD) vs Bristol Rovers

League Two play-offs
Chesterfield are currently seventh with 76 points, and Swindon eighth with 75 points – with the two set to meet in a play-off decider on the final day.
Barnet in ninth cannot make the play-offs, as one or both of Chesterfield and Swindon are guaranteed to pick up at least a point.
Similarly with Grimsby in sixth, they are already guaranteed a spot in the play-offs, as only one of Chesterfield or Swindon can overtake them.

League Two relegation
Nobody has been relegated yet, but Barrow, Harrogate Town, Crawley Town, Newport County and Tranmere Rovers could all drop.
Barrow are bottom by three points, and Harrogate join them in the drop zone, but Crawley are level on points with Harrogate and are out of the relegation places on goal difference.
Newport and Tranmere are two and three places above the drop respectively, but only by one point.
Unfortunately for Barrow, they need a bit too much to go in their favour, as they can only finish as high as 22nd.
This is how all the games unfold:
- Tranmere (40pts, -25GD) vs Grimsby
- Barrow (36pts, -32GD) vs Newport (40pts, -30GD)
- Crawley (39pts, -24GD) vs Salford
- Harrogate (39pts, -28GD) vs Barnet
