Last month, The Sun exclusively revealed Duncan had
Alexander is an actor and performer who has appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, and is currently showing off his ripped physique in Forbidden Nights.
And is clearly smitten with his new beau, as he told The Sun Online: “He is a very handsome boy, it’s early days.
“You know, I broke up with my ex in May. I did keep it quiet and then I went to a party with Alexander, but then of course it looks like I’ve just ended the relationship and gone out straight away with him, which isn’t the case, because there was a longer time frame.
“I think in general, I just feel that, me and Rodrigo, we just came to a natural end.
“And I love him to bits and we’re still friends and everything. But yeah, it was six and a half years.”
Duncan, who came out as gay in 2012, is enjoying the excitement that comes with a new relationship.
Speaking to us and other media at the Children with Cancer gala, he said: “It’s exciting. He’s a real sweetheart. He’s a bit of a love bug, which is sweet.
“He’s just like a big gentle giant, he’s really kind, really considerate, and it’s just fun.”
But Duncan is clearly serious about Alexander, as he has already introduced him to his Blue band mates and more importantly – his mum Fiona.
He said: “He’s met my mum. She liked him, and trust me, if Fiona didn’t like him you’d know about it!”
He added: “The boys met him first, because he came to a gig and met them.
“They all liked him as well, so I’ve got the seal of approval.”
The couple are also getting the chance to work together on a new pilot for a new sci-fi show called Custodians, which features an all LGBTQ+ cast.
Duncan said: “It’s the first time I think any kind of superhero-y, sci-fi series has been made with an all-inclusive LGBTQ+ cast.
“And randomly, Alex is in it as well and I get to play his on-screen partner, which is a bit strange. But I’m a villain, and he’s a goody.”
