A BOAT migrant released from jail was given the keys to a taxpayer-funded home two days before he committed a sickening sex crime against a pair of young girls.
Mohammed Abbas, 29, had been sentenced for assaulting a when he broke into the sisters’ home and exposed himself in July.


Abbas, who claims to be , arrived on a dinghy from in March.
But by June he was behind bars on remand having been arrested for sexual assault on a female, common assault, assaulting a constable on duty and assault by beating.
At a sentencing hearing on July 14 at Coventry magistrates’ court, he was handed 300 hours’ community service and fined £100.
The sexual assault and common assault charges were dismissed as no evidence was offered.
Abbas was then released and moved into a £250,000 two-bedroom house in Cardiff provided by the He was the only occupant at the time.
On July 30, two days after moving in, he forced his way into a terraced house in the Welsh capital at 2am where the sisters, one under 13 and one under 16, were sleeping.
Terrifyingly, they woke to find Abbas exposing himself in their bedroom doorway.
Their parents were alerted by the girls’ screaming and Abbas was later identified.


The family are still unsure how he entered their home.
The mother said: “We didn’t know him and don’t know why he picked our house. It was just random.
“It’s a bit raw at the moment.”
Neighbours told The Sun they were alarmed when he moved into the estate.
All the residents of four properties are asylum seekers.
Fahmida Abro, 40, who lives opposite said: “I was scared of him. He would drink outside in the street.
“My three daughters play in the street but I brought them in if he was there. I’m even more worried now I know he’s a sex offender. Why was he put here?”
Sources told The Sun Abbas had previously been abusive to female staff while at an asylum hotel.
At Cardiff crown court last month, Abbas admitted two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification.
He also admitted trespass with the intent of committing a sexual offence and burglary after stealing a phone and AirPods from the family’s house.
He was remanded into custody and will be sentenced next month.
Shadow Home Secretary said: “ is not taking the migrant rape and sexual assault crisis seriously.
“Every week a new story emerges of an illegal channel migrant or asylum seeker attacking women or girls. These sickening attacks are a danger to every woman and girl where illegal immigrants are accommodated.”
He added: “The list goes on and on, yet Burnham tells us there’s no problem.
Mr Philp said the want to on Human Rights and deport all small-boat arrivals immediately to fix the crisis.
The Home Office said it will seek to deport Abbas at the earliest opportunity.
A spokesman added: “Our thoughts are with the victims of Abbas’ vile crimes.
“We are boosting the number of officers on the ground in France and removing the pull factors drawing people here through illegal and dangerous routes.
“Removals of foreign national offenders are up 41 per cent, with nearly 12,000 returned or deported since the Government came to power to the end of this March.”
