The Tennants are joining their close friends Joe Marler, along with Hollywood stars Josh Hartnett and his wife Tamsin Egerton, and Kieran Culkin and his wife Jazz Charlton, as new additions to the star-studded line-up.
Clearly still affected by Nick’s deceit on The Traitors, Joe stated: “When I was told I’d be doing Celebrity Gogglebox with Nick for Stand Up To Cancer, I felt it would be a perfect chance to finally confront him and ask why he so happily betrayed me on national television.
“Honestly, I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else.
“We had a wild time on The Traitors, and somehow ended up being actual friends… though I’ll be keeping a close watch on him at all times, just in case.”
Star Nick agreed, saying, “When Gogglebox asked if I’d participate in their Stand Up To Cancer special with Joe Marler, I thought, ‘Fantastic – finally a chance for him to apologize for making me think he was a traitor.’
Joe still messages me about it every 20 minutes, so sitting on the sofa together, uncomfortably close, felt like the safest way to rebuild our trust.”
