DAISY May Cooper has lifted the lid on the real reason she suddenly pulled out of Celebrity Traitors – as she announced the end of one of her beloved sitcoms.
The Sun was first to reveal last year that the series was thrown into chaos when the .
was due to film the show in May last year with her brother Charlie, 37, but suddenly quit.
Revealing it was because of her kids that she couldn’t take part, the star told the whole story on today.
“We were asked to do it. And then I found out about the hotel and we weren’t going to stay in a Premier Inn and have to have the basics of a Premier Inn,” Daisy said.
“And then nobody wanted to look after my kids, because they’re a complete nightmare!”
Daisy also joked that her children, Pip, seven, Jack, six and Benji, two, were “horrible”.
A source previously told The Sun: “Daisy May and Charlie were so excited about taking part but once the demands of the show became clear Daisy had to sadly accept it would be tough as a mum-of-three.
“The Traitors cast has to be completely off grid and can’t be on FaceTime every night, or nipping to see their children on a day off filming.”
In the same interview, Daisy was also quizzed about the new series of her smash hit sitcom, Am I Being Reasonable?.
But the actress had some said news for fans, and revealed: “There’s no coming back from this. This really is the end.”
Am I Being Reasonable? launched in 2022 on BBC One, and was an instant hit.
The third and final season is due to air later this year.
