Now fans are convinced that the air isn’t clear between Sharon Rooney and , noting that some of their interactions seemed off.

Taking to , fans started a dedicated thread to discuss what they have noticed.

One user said: “I don’t think Sharon liked Michael very much.”

A second shared: “Sharon seems generally shy as a person, which would have been difficult in a house with very big personalities [like Michael]. She had just started to become comfortable and more confident in expressing herself.”

A third added: “I feel like even before the task where Sharon got upset, she didn’t like Michael Sheen and I am not sure her and Joanne got along, just very different characters.”

Another fan also noted that since Michael and Sharon both act, their rivalry could spill over into real life.

They noted: “Beyond being the “leader” of the round tables, Michael is a considerably more successful and experienced person in her profession.

“He went after her in quite an aggressive manner. She seem to shut down when that was happening.”

In episode eight of the recent series, Sharon snapped at Michael during the mission, after he decided Maya Jama, King Kenny and James Acaster were the most trust-worthy players.

Sharon disagreed with the group decision, but when quizzed, walked off and looked frustrated. The tension then continued in the subsequent roundtable, where Sharon was almost voted off.

Fans of the show were also convinced that Romesh and James weren’t the closest in the cast after noticing how different they were on-screen.

A Reddit user noted online after the show’s penultimate episode: “Romesh made a very sharp comment towards Blunty [James Blunt] about their personality differences and his disapproval of Blunt’s general approach to the show, being loud with opinions even after being repeatedly proven wrong.

“He made it rather personal by describing it as a lack of modesty or self-reflection and making clear his distaste.

“I think this is quite a bit indication of who Romesh had been referring to on the podcast.

“And Blunt was also one of the few cast members he doesn’t follow on social, for whatever that’s worth.”
