KIERAN MCKENNA and Brendan Rodgers are the early favourites for the Crystal Palace job, according to Betfair.

The bookmaker has installed the pair at 4/1 following that he will leave Selhurst Park when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Glasner led the Eagles to their first major trophy by beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final, before following that up with a Community Shield victory over Liverpool on penalties in August.

“A decision has already been taken, months ago,” Glasner said. “I had a meeting with Steve Parish in October during the international break. We had a very long talk and I told him I will not sign a new contract.”

Portugal manager Roberto Martinez is next in the market at 5/1 and could be available after this summer’s World Cup finals.

Experienced bosses Ange Postecoglou and Steve Cooper follow at 6/1, with former England manager Gareth Southgate priced at 7/1.

Further down the list are USA boss Mauricio Pochettino and Wales manager Craig Bellamy at 15/2, with Getafe’s Jose Bordalas offered at 17/2.

Frank Lampard, Marco Silva and Cesc Fabregas also feature in a crowded market, while former Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is priced at 12/1.

Betfair spokesperson James Mackie said: “On Friday afternoon, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner announced he will be leaving the club at the end of the season and Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna has emerged as the joint 4/1 favourite to take the role.

“Former Celtic and Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers also sits at 4/1 at the head of the market. Other notable names include Ange Postecoglou at 6/1, ex-England boss Gareth Southgate at 7/1, and Ruben Amorim at 12/1 following his departure from Manchester United.”
