Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid has identified his top three goalkeepers in the world today.

In an interview with the Spanish radio station COPE, Courtois omitted himself from the list and chose Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid), David Raya (Arsenal), and Alisson Becker (Liverpool).

He stated: “At present… Jan Oblak is performing at an exceptionally high level this year.

“I have great admiration for Alisson, even though he is currently sidelined with an injury. I also hold David Raya in high regard.”

While Courtois considers himself among the best goalkeepers in the sport, he emphasizes that his primary goal is to assist Real Madrid in winning matches and securing major trophies.

“I certainly see myself as one of the best, but that is subjective, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion,” Courtois remarked.

“Ultimately, my responsibility is to support my club, and how others perceive me is their prerogative.”
