A MUM has shared how she turned a cupboard in her one-bedroom flat into a bedroom for her baby daughter.

On her @itsjusttt_chelsea account, she wrote: “POV living in a one bedroom flat with an eight month old and wanted her to have her own precious space.

“We emptied the largest cupboard.

“I put a fresh coat of white paint on the walls.”;

She shared how the room looked “refreshed”; after the lick of paint.

Chelsea then picked up some adorable cloud-themed book shelves from Studio, which she painted pink for a pop of colour.

They then added a pink design around the top of the walls and put some bear-themed stickers on the wall.

Finally it was time to move the cot in and it slotted in the space.

The mum showed how they added a camera onto the side so they could their daughter when she is sleeping.

As the door is “always open”; for ventilation, they painted this the same colour and added a coat hook for extra storage.

Chelsea was delighted with the end result.

She wrote: “Couldn’t be anymore happier with how her bedroom turned out.

“After all the hard work and everyone that helped, my princess finally had a perfect bedroom.”;

Explaining why their home only has one bedroom, despite it being a council home, Chelsea claimed: “The council have said she doesn’t qualify as a person till she’s 1 and even then she’s only classed as half a person!”;

Chelsea explained that the door is open 24/7 and the room had been looked over by a health professional.

Typically bedrooms in the UK must have a window to offer natural light, ventilation and a means of escape in case of fire.
