Corrie Star Fuels Exit Rumors After Being Named Possible Flashforward Murder Victim!

A CORONATION Street actress has sparked rumours amongst fans that she’s quit the soap, after sharing a telling post.

It comes after it was revealed that – and this soap star’s alter ego is one of them.

producer Kate Brooks previously told fans there would be a “special episode ” – however the identity of who it is remains a mystery.

But in a special flash-forward episode last week, it was confirmed how characters , Megan Walsh, Theo Silverton, Maggie Driscoll and Jodie Ramsey are the ones in the firing line.

Now in a twist of events, one of the stars who plays one of these characters has shared a telling post that fans think is a hint she is the one who is being killed off.

It came when actress Olivia Frances Brown, 28, who plays Jodie, shared an Instagram post which read: “Came to the cobbles looking for closure and maybe a bit of chaos.

“How are we all liking Jodie? Would you trust her? Thank you for all the kind messages. I’ve loved every second of bringing her to life.”

But fans think the post proves that Jodie will be bumped off, as they think it has been written in the “past tense”.

Taking to X/Twitter to discuss, one fan said: “don’t like that this is giving last day of filming, need Jodie to STAY!”

Another added: “I think she’s talking in past tense!”

But after all the chaos that she has caused, could Jodie be the one who is bumped off?

Last week’s flashforward episode, which was dated April 23, 2026, put Jodie, Megan, Carl, Theo and Maggie all at risk of being harmed.

Character Betsy Swain’s scream filled the air after she found the body.

She then told detectives she has found the dead body of someone she knows following her mum Lisa’s marriage to Carla Connor.

Each of the five characters are then touted as the victims – with suggestions hinted at their death.

Previously, producer Kate said: “So there are five potential victims and the audience, we’ll take the audience on a journey for them to try and figure out who that body is and what happened, what’s the backstory to it, how did they get to that place, why did that person die when they died.”

Kate noted: “Obviously this will be quite an intriguing story, it’s our big thriller-esque story as we go into spring, early summer, it will involve an awful lot of the community.

“I don’t think I’ve ever told a story that involves quite as many character groups, it’s everyone, everyone’s impacted, everyone’s affected by the story and there are so many twists and so many turns.”

She then teased: “Don’t be fooled by what you think is happening because that might not be the case.”

“It’s a few months. It’s a scene of a character being interviewed by the police, so we understand what’s happened, we understand the context of what’s happened but we don’t actually know who it’s happened to,” she added.
