He left the soap in 2007 after playing then youngster Daniel Osbourne for two years.
But now actor Dominic Holmes is starring in Channel 4’s critically-acclaimed and he looks world’s apart from Daniel.
Stray Barlow offspring Daniel was the result of Ken’s affair with Denise Osbourne in 1994.
As a toddler he was played by Lewis Harney from 1995-97 but left the cobbles to move to Scotland and had a long distance relationship with dad Ken.
Daniel returned to the Street in the noughties, played by Dominic Holmes, when his mum got back in touch with Ken before leaving again in 2007.
Then Daniel made a comeback in 2017, in the form of new actor who has made the role his own.
But for the first recognisable Daniel, actor Dominic has landed the role of teacher by day and drag queen DJ by night Regime in Tip Toe.
The hard-hitting drama comes to an end tonight in a finale that has left viewers devastated.

And it will be the final episode with show boss Russell T Davies already confirming that it will not return for a second series.
Writer told us: “This is a one-off.
“It has a very definite ending. There’s nowhere you could go after the ending. I’m very happy with it. I’ve had a good time doing it.
“I always have to start from scratch and I sometimes regret that. I’m mad, aren’t I?
“But equally I like doing one-offs. Soon I’ll start something brand new.
“It means I can go anywhere and do anything. There are new actors to work with, there are new stories, society keeps changing. I’m excited to move on.”
Executive producer Nicola Shindler added: “It’s a one-off miniseries.
“It’s a bold show. It goes to dark places. It’s great that we got the chance to do that.
“Russell thinks he has told the story. There are so many stories out there, so Russell wants to move on.”
