CORRIE legend Beverley Callard has sparked concern after revealing she feels constantly sick following radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer.

The 69-year-old actress reached out to fans after suffering three bad days for every good one since completing treatment.

Sharing an update on , the legend said: “Yesterday was a good day. I went to work, not for too long, but it was great. I felt occasional nausea, but it wasn’t too bad.

“But today I just feel so sick all the time. I have one good day and then three bad since the radiotherapy.

“Is anyone else going through this? This is not good, I’m sure, but I know I’m not alone in this.”

Concerned Fans flocked to send Beverley messages of support, although some urged her to seek advice from her medical team.

One wrote: “I am not being rude or impolite at all, but we are mostly telling you to contact your breast care nurse for specialist help or advice.

“Take things easy. I know you find that difficult. I could not work at all for months and had to do that because the doctors, nurses and consultants knew best and needed to be listened to.”

Another agreed, writing: “The experts in oncology or radiotherapy will know better.”

A third added: “Ring your oncology nurse. There is medication for this. Don’t suffer, get help.”

Beverley, who played Liz McDonald in Corrie, first revealed in February that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer .

Speaking recently on Irish chat show The Six O’Clock Show, she revealed that radiotherapy had left her “quite badly burnt”, as well as nauseous and exhausted.

During the same interview, Beverley confirmed she was “back at work” and filming once again, referring to .

She added: “I don’t know the actual prognosis yet. I see my oncologist again in two weeks’ time, so I’ll know more then, but I’m doing well.”
