The Trump administration has criticized Jeremy Corbyn as “anti-Semitic” and “disturbing” for his involvement in the New York mayoral race, cautioning that it has strained relations with the United States.
The disgraced former Labour leader was labeled “an anti-Semitic foreign leader” by US Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who warned that the independent MP may have violated laws by attempting to influence US voters through phone canvassing for his fellow leftist Zohran Mamdani.

She warned the UK that “to use a British expression, it isn’t cricket,” adding that “it does affect our strong relationship between the two countries.”
Ms. Dhillon also contended that Corbyn’s notorious views would not resonate well in America, stating, “He famously referred to Hamas and Hezbollah as friends, which is terrifying for Jews and others who lived through 9/11.”
“I’m not sure how they thought this through, but that imagery is quite unsettling for Americans,” she added.
Hard-left Jeremy proudly stated he was campaigning for fellow socialist firebrand Mamdani, who is favored to win today’s contest for City Hall in New York.
Encouraging New Yorkers to support the controversial leftist “over the finish line,” Corbyn hosted a phone banking event that he claimed was funded by Mamdani’s campaign.
However, Ms. Dhillon cautioned that such activities could violate strict US election laws and jeopardize the special relationship between the UK and the US.
She articulated, “This is an open admission that a foreign leader, an anti-Semitic foreign leader, is actively campaigning for someone in the US.”
She continued, “Our laws are quite strict regarding these matters. Generally speaking, any foreign contributions are prohibited… But what remains unclear is the extent to which he is being compensated for his services.”
Warning of potential sanctions, the Assistant Attorney General added, “Fines could certainly be imposed by our federal officials… All of this usually becomes evident after the election.”
Mr. Corbyn’s involvement has already intensified the heated New York race, with a second-place independent candidate declaring, “Having Jeremy Corbyn—someone whose party was found to have committed unlawful acts of discrimination against Jewish people under his leadership—phone banking for Zohran Mamdani says everything you need to know.”
Meanwhile, a Senator criticized, “Foreign interference: A British anti-Semite supporting an NYC anti-Semite… Communists of the world unite!”
